CHRISTIAN EDUCATION NEWS – ADVENT/CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
The Christian Education committee is preparing for an all youth program on December 14, 2008. Youth
from the Preschool Sunday Small Group class through high school are invited to participate. There will be
songs, both as a group or as solos, speaking parts with little or no memorization needed, and a Nativity
scene (with costumes).
Practices will be on Sunday mornings – 10:00 to 10:20 AM starting Nov. 16. Extra practices may also be
scheduled either on Monday afternoons or on a couple of Saturday mornings. A practice schedule will be
set up after all youth wishing to take part are signed up. A complete dress rehearsal will be Saturday,
December 13 with the time to be decided. We hope to close with a fun time after the dress rehearsal.
The Christian Education committee hopes that all parents, children and youth will help make this
presentation possible. Parents can help by signing up their children and making sure that they attend as
many practices as possible. Children and youth – you can help by being willing to take part and working
hard at practices. If we all work together we can have a program that is meaningful and fun for all.
