Pulpit supply for July is arranged with a special joint service with the Methodist church on
July 25th to be held in the park. A potluck picnic will follow the service. Pastor Ed Bollack
will give the message. Bring your own place settings and we will provide the drinks. Dave
Hoch is in charge of the sound. Our new Bible has arrived and is beautiful. Communion will
be July 11th. Next meeting: July 6 @ 5:15 pm

July 25th [BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND] Worship in the Park with the Methodist
Congregation
Invite your friends and neighbors, young and old, for a very casual worship & fellowship
time in Yuma Park on Sunday, July 25th @ 10:30 am. Folding chairs will be available,
but you are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
After worship, we'll enjoy a potluck lunch (bring your favorite picnic foods & table service
- drinks will be provided.) Then visit with friends or take part in a game or activity

YUMA COMMUNITY 4th of July Weekend BLOCK PARTY
Saturday, July 3rd, 5:30 - 8:30 pm at the First Southern Baptist Church, 1101 S Albany.
Bring your family to a free* BBQ and activity night sponsored by the Ministerial Association
and First Southern Baptist Church. You won't want to miss the dunking booth, along with
games, booths for kids and adults, Soccer Challenge - 6:30 -7:30 pm (Get a team together)
and live music. Then join your neighbors and friends for the fireworks display! * Any donations
will be accepted with all monies going to pay down the debt at First Southern Baptist.

YUMA COUNTY FAIR PROGRAM-August 1st-7:00 - at the Grandstands
Yuma Ministerial Association and Yuma County area Businesses and Ministries
is sponsoring Dan McGowan· - Colorado's Funny-Man! A-worship reader. musician,
comedian and especially, a Christian. He performs clean, G-Rated, observational comedy
and parody songs for audiences everywhere. This concert is free, but an offering will be
taken to defray expenses. Bring your family, for this is a family ministry/entertainment program
you won't want to miss.

Dear Presbyterian Church,
On behalf of the 4K for Cancer, thank you so much for everything you have done for us!
The families of First Presbyterian church have been so generous and welcoming. Thank
you for opening your homes to us, the wonderful baked potato meal and getting to know
more about life in Eastern Colorado. Your generosity is truly inspiring to us riders and you
will be in our thoughts as we continue on our journey!
