First Presbyterian Church of Yuma

      It is gratitude to her church, First Presbyterian Church of Yuma, that prompted
Lola Shepherd to honor the church with a bequest of $50,000.00.
     This memoriam is for the years of spiritual guidance, comfort, support, opportunity for
service, friendship, and love extended to her by the church body and her devotion to Christ.
     Lola felt humbled and honored to serve in many capacities within the church such as
30 years with the youth Sunday School program, nearly the same as the sole Memorial
Treasurer, as a Deacon, a helper at funeral dinners as well as other endeavors for as long
as her health permitted.
     As her daughters, I, Barbara Olsen and my sister, Anne Fletemeyer, will be making
designations for the funds.
    May God  bless this bequest for the use of the church.
